Targus rolls out urban styling & versatility with its rugged metro series
|
Feature rich line of notebook cases in a rugged yet stylish lightweight design
Hong Kong, (May 16th 2005)—Targus, inventor of the notebook
case and the global leading provider of mobile accessory solutions,
today revealed its new Metro Notebook Series. The two briefcase-style
cases and one convertible briefcase/backpack style incorporate contemporary
styling and functional designs, ideal for the urban commuter, mobile
professional or student.
With sporty black, gray and yellow exteriors, the cases will appeal
to fashion-conscious users who appreciate Targus’ top-level
protection and practical product design elements. Padded notebook
compartments and rugged, durable nylon exteriors ensure safe notebook
transportation, while keeping cases lightweight. Multiple compartments
keep users organized including a front zippered pocket for quick
access to airline tickets/ passports, a zip-down workstation with
mobile accessory storage, pen loops, business card holders, key
clips, a removable mobile phone pouch and water bottle pocket. Rubberized
zipper pulls and padded shoulder straps ensure maximum user comfort.
The Metro Convertible Notebook Case, at a weight of only 1.4 Kg
is a heavy duty carry case that can be carried as briefcase style
or converted into a backpack. The case accommodates notebooks with
screen sizes up to 14” inches and includes several pockets
for mobile accessory storage, including a PDA pocket and a file
storage section.
The Metro Notebook Case is a top-loading case that makes notebook
access quick and easy, especially when traveling or seated at a
desk. The main compartment fits notebooks with up to 15-inch screens
and includes an additional file storage section. Other features
include a removable mesh accessory pouch, two divided file sections,
a luggage strap for easy attachment to rolling luggage cases and
a removable CD/DVD sleeve that holds up to eight disks.
The XL Metro Notebook Case accommodates notebooks with up to 17-inch
screens and incorporates the same features as the Metro Notebook
Case, including top-loading functionality, removable mesh pockets
and a removable media sleeve.

(TCG350AP) & Metro Notebook Case (TCG400AP) are available at
HK$429, the XL Metro Notebook Case (TCG417AP) is available for HK$499.
